Behold the Taco

This week we did a lot of calling to missionaries. Like, a lot of phone calls.
Also, transfer calls came and we get to stay in our apartment for another six weeks. We are over two wards/congregations, and now Elders will be over one of the wards, so now we only have one ward. Woodburn was a great ward, so we are sad to be down to one ward. So much fun to have so many people to work with!!

We made a taco cake. Also we have had so many taco meals. We mostly eat mexican food. This week we decided to get more variety, but our fridge is still mostly mexican food.
We have also found several new people to teach in the last two weeks! It is really fun finding new people with an interest in learning more about Christ and the Book of Mormon. Right now we are working with someone who knows the Bible inside and out, and we are focusing a lot on having them read in the Book of Mormon so we can teach more about how the Bible and Book of Mormon go together. It is cool to see their progress and how what we teach makes more and more sense as you study the Book of Mormon.

Also we are pumping out videos for our local facebook pages.
Here's two of the six we run:

https://www.facebook.com/ChurchofJesusChristinWoodburnKeizer/
These two we have been working on the most because less missionaries are submitting content so we are working harder on getting videos for them, but they are getting better! If you scroll down a lot on Woodburn you will see a lot of me and my companion. Also, we are most definitely running out of ideas for videos of ourselves for the page other than family history, introducing ourselves, and sharing scriptures. Email me ideas! :)

We took pictures with our district since it was our last meeting before transfers. Go video call meetings!

Ya'll are great. Thank you for your birthday emails. Sister Lake 1200 Country Club Rd apt #109 Wooburn OR, 97071 Penelope.lake@missionary.org
