Subject: The Bananas Melted.
Sister Evans finished a drawing she did of both of us missionaries walking down a road to talk to people. She did it mostly during our institute classes. (Mom note: It still blows me away how talented she is. WOW. Kjarstin was the first one to realize that it was the two of them.)

Life is going well. We only spent 6.5 hours this week on our ward/those we are teaching, the rest of our 8-9 hours a day of work were spent on Facebook and coordinating people. SO BUSY. We just did a new update so that people will hopefully submit more content so we can take less time posting, so we are hoping that now that's in place we will spend less time coordinating that stuff and more time planning and scheduling trainings to make people more effective so we can spend less time each day on Facebook.
We made some jello. Also if you have bananas in between the stove and toaster (with room, not smooshed), the bananas will melt.

We had a training meeting with one set of missionaries in an area that Sister Evans used to serve in, and in the middle of the meeting, someone Sister Evans had taught came on! It was funny. The missionaries in the training sent the person we used to work with the zoom code and time. 🤣 So Sister Evans got to see someone from her last area.
We also took a chunk of time to get our car an oil change and tire rotation. That was boring.
Fun fact, I have allergies to outside stuff (plants etc.) and you can still have bad allergies to the outside even when you are inside all day.

We also had a virtual exchange with some other sisters that we are over, so that was awesome! I love all the sisters we work with, they are just amazing.
We were able to teach a fun lesson with someone about what the Book of Mormon teaches or clarifies that isn't in the Bible, and how important it is for them to work together. It was a great discussion!

Anyway, life is great. We love the work, and the next few weeks shall be really busy!
Enjoy life!

Subject: Prioritize Your Soul
We were discussing life and were talking about scripture study and compared it to brushing your teeth - brushing your teeth once a week with extra toothpaste doesn't work, it's the same with scripture study! Doing an intense study once a work doesn't work, it's better to do it daily! So then we joked that you have to prioritize your soul like you prioritize your teeth.

We got to do virtual exchanges with some of our sisters! It was fun to see them!
This week, we had interviews, MLC, a second MLC with a bigshot, and a mission conference over zoom with the same bigshot. Next week we have a technology meeting with some of our zone leaders, and then we have zone conference. Lots of meetings!

During our regular MLC (Mission Leadership Council), we got to do a facebook training for 30 minutes because we are tech specialists! It was cool, we are excited to see the effects of the training go out. Sister Evans is really good at explaining stuff!

The bigshot was Elder Jorg Klebingat, one of the 70. He was awesome! He gave us all some things to work on and do as a mission. Also we did our mission conference with the Santa Rosa California mission, so we got to see people from another mission over zoom!

We talked to a super cool lady yesterday! She talked to us for a long while about everything she has been struggling with, and we set her up with missionaries in her area because she moved to another state. It was so cool, because she is switching phones and won't have that phone number on the 17th. She was on our list of people who used to meet with the missionaries. If we hadn't called, the missionaries wouldn't have been able to reach her at all because of her phone disconnecting soon!
Goals for ya'll:
Go home and do awesome stuff with all the stuffs I learned, aka, the following:
- Choose a Christlike attribute to work on. Humility, patience, love, etc.
- Know your scriptures better! Go memorize a few scriptures, get to know your references better!
- Check that you are doing good things for the right reasons - right things for the wrong reasons isn't the best, so fix it!
Those are a few things from what Elder Klebingat came and taught us missionaries. They are great! Go do it! Do it! Do it!
Anyway life is great! Hope you have a great week!
